About

I'm a 5th-year PhD candidate in Planetary Science with a Systems Engineering minor at the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory.

My research lives at the intersection of geophysics, glaciology, planetary science, and systems engineering. I study rift dynamics on the Ross Ice Shelf using satellite remote sensing, verify instruments for lunar exploration, and investigate systems-theoretic frameworks for engineering practice.

I'm interested in rigorous positive-EV verification methods, mechanistic interpretability of scientific foundation models, Bayesian reasoning, the Kyoto School of philosophy, and Peircean pragmatism. Outside of research, I cook, lift, take photographs, and tend a garden in Tucson.
